tara – like spinach pasta, the coloring is tasteless – but very cool to see… it’s all texture and how it catches the sauce. i used the leftovers with just some truffle oil and cheese. it was wonderful for lunch the next day. but i live for pasta….

I have never heard of this pasta. What does it taste like?

The texture, in the pictures, almost looks rubbery, but I’m sure that’s not the case. Are you sure you didn’t sneak into your garage and take pictures of some rubber washers from Cary’s toolbox? haha

Just kidding, I’m sure it tasted great. Anything seafood related, I love.

Claudia, I love that the squid ink pasta is also shaped like little calamari rings! And you’re right, it is very photogenic. Great job!

donald - no packets. just a bag of heavily attituded pasta.

dan - it's not really a recipe. it's like a throw together that worked... poke around and see whatcha got lying around and then throw it on some spaghetti!

Sounds wonderful, and the pictures are beautiful. I think I like it best that the squid ink pasta actually looks like calamari.

Interesting. The completed dish looks tasty, but the black noodles look a bit ominous. Where on earth do you get squid ink noodles?

That looks delicious!!!!

When I first saw the headline on my feed, I was thinking that you used one of those ink packets that you get in paella kits. Silly me!

This is one to try for sure.
